Addidas Stan Smith
I'm in the market for a versitile sneaker and I'm currently considering getting myself a pair of stan smiths.
I was also considering blue Gazelles but those probably would not be as versitlie due to a lot of my trousers being simmilar in colour.
Is the stan smith decent for the price and considered a good shoe? If not what would be some good alternatives.
Finally there is also a lux version of the shoe. Are these meaningfully better in comfort/looks and or durability?

I own a pair of stan smiths, I would say the quality is pretty good, but what I dislike is the bulky silhouette

other options would be Nike AF1, NB550, Sambas depending on how bulky you want
Good suggestions I was also looking at Gazelles in Blue but I should probably stick with white at the moment

I think I will probably get myself 1 decent white sneaker and then focus more on leather shoes
mostly depends on siholutte and which you like/matches what you wear
NB990s are another, more dad, option

if you are in germany you can get the OGs for cheap I'm like 90% sure on german ebay
and shipping shouldn't be insane domestically (thats why people outside of germany don't bother)
yeah that could work. I also always like to save money. Clothing can be expensive
they are called something else in german, though I don't know it off the top of my head fyi

supposedly the orginals aren't as comfy as the remakes, but they are a a fraction of the price

@kissgogoat sorry I did not mean bulky, I mean more like roundish, ball shaped in the front and not as sleek as eg. Common Projects, on Stan Smiths, the bottom of the tongue seems short and makes this ball-shape https://i.imgur.com/OI4m5vl.png
but it might just be me that thinks the front silhouette is not that attractive
