Roll back region
Hello! I am trying to roll back a region to an older state. I have an earlier version of the world, so I thought I could take the old
.mca region file and replace it. This doesn't work, and even when completely deleted, when I start the server up again it does not regenerate the chunks. Any ideas why/how this is happening?12 Replies

i am running spigot 1.20.1
use paper
u can use worldedit snapshots
but for next time i recommend using coreprotect
I don't have these, I only have an old version of the world

its a small friends only server so performance is not an issue... Paper also fixes a lot of bugs that our farms rely on :(
all of those can be fixed
easily
its not just performance
spigot skips ticks
which means things that should happen in some cases just dont
