Home-scale server software that can run on a VM with just CLI

Hello helpful folks. I was intending to search on the subreddit to see if there was something that met my needs, but with it locked down I couldn't. Here's my setup: I've got a home server with a handful of VMs via proxmox. I'm planning to host a minecraft server for ~10 people, so scaleability isn't a high priority for me. I'm also not intending to run any mods, but the ability to easily load custom datapacks might be nice. To better conserve resources, I'm looking for a way to run a server on a VM (or container) without a UI on that VM. Ideally, it'd be something that can be setup via a linux CLI and create a management webpage for the minecraft server where I could add users to the white list, check the logs, etc. Does such a server hosting software exist? Am I overthinking this and I should just use the standard issue minecraft server software? Input is appreciated. Thanks!

pterodactyl would work just fine for this and uses nginx/apache to provide a webpanel
