server console spam

someone is spamming my lobby server with

213.136.71.218:40878 lost connection: Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: Packet 2/0 (PacketLoginInStart) was larger than I expected, found 1 bytes extra whilst reading packet 0

is there something i can do about it? tried to banip and firewall blacklist but its still spamming
