Lag while loading Chunks while flying over Deep Dark biomes & Ancient cities
We are running a modded Paper server with several mods for performance and general gameplay changes. We seem to be experiencing huge lag spikes any time someone flies over a chunk where a deep dark biome is located. Does anyone have a solution or suggestion for this?

mods for performance?
u cant have mods on paper
sorry i mean fabric
hold on ill fix that'
u meant plugins?
also we would need a spark report while ur flying over em, also remember to pregen if u havent.

fabric mods dont work on paper
its a fabric server i mistyped
last server was paper
used to typing paper
also theres no optimization mods here
other than like clumps
ig
Lithium

ah
use starlight aswell
and pregen
the lag is happening on chunks that are already generated
well then give a spark report when possible
even then pregen is good at all times
are you asking for the output from /spark health?
No im asking for a spark profiler report
Please use a paste service instead!
Paste services are more mobile friendly and easier to read than just posting a log file
spark1.txt

like this?
i have never used spark so im just kinda winging this here
No
Run /spark profiler start
Try and lag the server by flying over the chunks etc
Then spark profiler stop

I have to sleep so will check tomorrow
It shows 19.8+ TPS, is it lagging on the client or on the server side?
I ain't seeing any lag in this profiler
It wasn’t that bad during that profile. It got pretty bad later (I was told) but I wasn’t on to do a test. I’m honestly not really sure how to replicate the issues that are happening. I might close this thread and play around with spark and come back later to see if I can get help.
