Chunky reliably crashes within 3-6 hours of pre-generating - DAWNCRAFT modpack -reopening post

EDITTED MAIN POST TO REFLECT NEW HARDWARE: Running 22.04.2 ubuntu server (cli) on ASrock MOBO, 16GB of 2333hz DDR4 RAM, Ryzen 7 2700X CPU
DawnCraft Modpack is based on forge 1.18.2

Error: Serverwatchdog is killing server due to 60sec hangtime.
Going down the rabbit hole w/ chunky forums state to allocate ridiculous amounts of RAM to hardly any at all. Currently only startup argument is Xmx10G. Have tried with Xmx2G as well.
I understand networking/generic sysadm stuff but extremely new to MC hosting (doing this for friends), coding isn't my thing, and parsing/understanding log files definitely isn't either. Any recommendations/something stand out to ya'll?

should note - we have crashed our way to pregenerating ~4500 radius, or 318000 chunks!
have also tried setting max-tick-rate to -1: server just hangs indefinitely if I do that.
modded minecraft with that cpu and hdd is not recommended.
@ProGamingDK is that the most likely reason it's crashing though? I'm ok with items running slower, but is there a severe detriment to using the hardware?

bad cpu, hdds are very slow
get a proper system for that
OK, got a ryzen 7 2700X running on 1TB NVME and same issue
how much have u given the serer of ram
and how much does it have in total
currently only startup arg is Xmx10G, has 16 total. Can purchase more
