SEO for translated content.

SEO tools are reporting content is not readable but for foreign store level. How do I fix this? If I have terms/conditions translated how else can I make it "readable"

Did you make sure the document (or at least the section the content is in) has a lang="whatever is the language of the content" ?

lang - HTML: HyperText Markup Language | MDN
The lang global attribute helps define the language of an element: the language that non-editable elements are written in, or the language that the editable elements should be written in by the user. The attribute contains a single "language tag" in the format defined in RFC 5646: Tags for Identifying Languages (also known as BCP 47).

No it doesn't have that? I'll look into it thanks. @Rägnar O'ock it does have <html lang=fr > though?

then I don't know, and I think you'll need to give more information on the issue, like what exactly does the thing report, what's on the page, if possible a link to both the tool you're using and the page

@Rägnar O'ock it's screaming frog It also reports of images on the website are over 100kb Which is kinda stupid imo, imagine a hero banner image but you are forced to compress it and the result are blurry images. And I'm not exactly sure it google will reduce ranks based on file image size or if it's just a guideline for speed.
