Best Budget Minecraft Host?
I am currently looking for a cheap (but reliable) host for my minecraft server. I understand that this is tough to find, but I have narrowed my options to Pebblehost, Revivenode, and Witherhosting. I was thinking of also using Elixirnode (0.85/gb), however there is no SQL database included in the host, so I don't think it's worth the $0.15 price decrease. If there is a seperate host you recommend, please let me know, though these seem to be the more well-known brands of hosting. Thanks!

oracle cloud gives you 4 threads and 24gb free forever
Tried to set this up but it didn't work well. I have a seperate server hosted on oracle cloud, but it's such a hassle sometimes. If the server I'm creating ever gets as big as the other one, I guess I'll switch it over, but oracle cloud is just too buggy.
Will do. Thanks!
how is it buggy
its just a vps
Oracle delets VMs all the time and will terminate it if it's too active or not active enough. It's happened to me twice, but I know some people don't have that happen to them. It's really just a lottery sometimes.
just make sure the server is always being used, keep a large radius of loaded chunks so cpu use never gets too low
i have never had this issue and i've been using oracle cloud for over a year and neither has anyone I know
Awesome! Feel free to check out drivebackupV2, just incase it gets deleted. I didn't create it or anything, but it's saved me many times.
the only thing that actually matters on the server is the sql database, everything else can be restored with a few git pulls and some configuration
and that has automated backups
if the server gets big enough then you should move to a regular host or rent a dedi from hetzner or ovh cloud or smth, tho thats usually for servers with hundreds of players daily
elixirnode does include a mysql db with their plans
ive used them before
if a host doesnt include a mysql db then its not worth even thinking about
its like a bare minimum requirement for hosting
