Any good Anti-Bot plugins to stop this?

One of my backend servers is experiencing this bot raiding. Is there any plugins out there that can suppress these messages? And/or stop it all together?

Didnt know that using purpur would stop it Can I just simply switch software to purpur? Or do I have to upodate all the plugins when I switch? Or?

Is that option already active when you use purpur or is it something that that has to be setup? I using purpur and I’m still getting visits from the infamous cuute

@Kingaling This post might be of help: https://discord.com/channels/348681414260293634/1123360822895329380 It details how to setup fail 2 ban for a server, which would block ips that fail to connect multiple times in a short period of time. This is diffrent from just ignoring it, like previously mentioned.

99% of people arent using vps/dedis/selfhosting just a fyi
Penguin Terminal
Stats? I have seen a lot of people who are self-hosting either on other hardware or their own pc since it is usually the cheapest.

Ik in this case, OP is a WitherHosting customer, so likely wouldn't be relevant
Penguin Terminal
Ah, didn't see this, my bad

I self host. I appreciate the guide, it’s very helpful

Does this just strictly hide them from the console or will it actually prevent validating the player

"supress" so just hide afaik

That’s what I figured I’m guessing they still eat up ur auth limit and can delay others from logging in if they spam too hard (I think this is how it works? Correct me if I’m wrong)

they login once every 2 minutes if ur getting auth limited by that u got something seriously wrong

This is generalization for spam/bots, not specifically the cuute guy
