Registrar problems with DNSSEC

We are trying to transfer a domain from Google Domains to Cloudflare, because of the acquisition of it by Squarespace, and the problem is, I forgot to remove DNSSEC on Google Domains' side. Now Cloudflare says "Transfer conditions not met" and Google Domains says "Domain has server lock." I toggled DNSSEC in Cloudflare, but for it to be completely turned off, I need to remove it from Google Domains since they are my DNS provider. How can I turn it off? Or is it a different problem? Thanks, b-bear, owner of b-bear.org

Oh I wonder if it attempted to transfer then failed and won't restart because it is a pending transfer state. Are you able to cancel the transfer on Google's side?
