React pros - is this worth getting?
Friend's company pays for whatever he needs to study, he uses React now but wants to learn a bit more and they have this on their "can buy" list lol. I'm a complete newb on React so I've no idea how good or bad it the content could be.

Here's why we're excited about it and why it took so long to create.

you can read more about it here
you can also:
https://ui.dev/subscribe
that covers react.gg as well as all other courses they have
anual sub tho
ill pass it on. I'm fine with the free stuff, but he gets all his courses paid for so i'll let him know
hell they're paying £2k for him to go to javazone in oslo later on in the year lol
spend money mfer
Ive spent like £200 on udemy courses, that's my limit 😄
oh I actually saw that con when I was perusing the list of conferences
I have max's js and react course, i have a few algo courses, some sql stuff, nodes, im sorted
honestly if you can afford it I'd say it's worth, very complete course, otherwise really give the docs a go they're quite alright
I'll think about it when it comes out in the summer, appreciate it!
if you look for other stuff, don't overthink, redux is not worth these days so courses with that is not much added value
search for stuff that talks in good detail about hooks, state management...and just the basic features of react
the book bundle you sent has some interesting looking ones, but a lot of them I wouldn't recommend reading, not cause they're bad (idk if they are) but because of the topic
Yah I don’t want to overcomplicate anything I just need the basics, and then go on from there
I’m pretty sure maxs course on udemy does just that
I say max, actually this guy is great too. Boot camp teacher usually
Udemy
The Modern React Bootcamp (Hooks, Context, NextJS, Router)
Just published! Follow the same curriculum I teach my students in SF. 10+ projects including one HUGE application!
I read it as Marx was wondering when he had the time to make courses on react
oh Colt Steele
that looks really solid
ill jump on that one then when I start react (not long now if i'm following odin project)
