GeyserMC Bedrock players can't break blocks

I have a server using GeyserMC so bedrock players can connect. I logged on today, and I can't break any blocks. i am using Paper 1.20.1 build 47, and geyser with spigot. how can i fix this issue?

I am using an intel core i7-2600k How can i check disable spawn protected chunks prevent breaking blocks?

12600k? or 2600k and is that the cpu the server is running on?

2600k (line 2) and it is the cpu it is running on i will try this

Make sure to save the file and restart the server for the changes to take place. If it doesn't work, just respond back.

No problem! I would also recommend taking a look at your geyser config and setting the above-bedrock-nether-building to true if you (or any bedrock player for that matter) plan on every building on the nether roof, as you will experience the same problem. It does come with the downside of changing the nether fog color to the end (for bedrock players only) though.
