Random user keeps attempting to join?

I've been hosting a Fabric MC AOF6 server for my friends, and I've had this same person try to join my server since yesterday at 5:00 AM; it seems to be most frequent between 2 and 9:00 AM. It appears to me that this is an attempt to join that fails owing to the user not having the necessary mods installed. Is anyone aware of who this is or why it is happening? I have not distributed the IP address. I examined the joining IP, which appears to be a VPN and has changed a few times.

its a bot, that scans for mc servers on ALL ips... (legit every ip, so regardless if u've told no one bout ur server)
if u have online mode on, u can ignore it. this exact post is made like 10x a day
I feel like one of the admins/staff should make a post and pin it to the top #questions regarding this topic, with the title something like "User 'cuute' keeps attempting to join server..." Also the #welcome channel still says to use #questions-legacy for questions

I came here looking for this exact same user and question. Server is online mode and whitelist only, so only seeing the connection attempts using every possible port number. It doesn't look like it's affecting server performance at all at least.

"IPs and nicknames associated with them are stored in the local database (as plain text(!))." -.- sounds awesome i know they already get logged but still (can be fixed if u just turn of ip logging in paper)

Is there by chance an updated version to 1.20.1?

I'm running on 1.20.1 Lol 1.20 plugin runs just fine on 1.20.1 server. And most plugin that's on 1.19.4 will still work on 1.20. unless it break the api.
