Drop inventory only on PVP kills
Hi, I want to know if there is a plugin or datapack that would set KeepInventory as true when a player die for every type of death except for a PVP kill, I need to find a way for a private server.
The server is in 1.20 and it's vanilla but if it's necessary I can move it into bukkit or a server that use plug-in

that seems to be quite the custom thing ngl,
on vanilla it's certainly not possible
and vanilla runs like shit anyways
not even datapack?
I will change it
if you want plugins you can run paper, otherwise if you want performance and pure vanilla experience fabric with some of the performance mods
paper is good but some farm will not work
I can go by fabric, but I still need a fabric mod or datapack to cahnge it
that is true yes... might be able to ask somebody to custom code it tbh
I would code it but I have to learn how datapakc works in the first plavce, I do a programming school but Idon't know the way minecraft works
doing that on a spigot plugin is easy, but on fabric idk
is fabric good for server? but still don't optimize the way paper optimize
I talk for the farm type thing
fabric runs even better
and paper patches many farms which fabric does not
I use fabric but not for the server
that might be a good idea as well
if you tell so I will try to search ho wto make it
tnx
i could try it as well, give me a few mins
ok
now I search gow fabric works
are you on 1.20 or 1.20.1?
1.20
if you are in 1.20.1 can you play in 1.20 server?
i recommend updating to 1.20.1, as it has some important bug fixes
i dont even know at this point with mojangs update schedule
yeah it sucks hard
pre 1.13 it was so chill
yeah fr, I still play modpacks in 1.12.2
they are so good
I checked and if the server is in 1.20 and you are in 1.20.1you can enter
I will update to 1.20.1
EI MAN ARE YOU FIGURING IT OUT?
sorry caps
nah, my fabric is just fucking broken to hell rn
I'm trying to figure out gradle hahaha
gradle is like 2 commands >:d
spigot or fabric are the real options
if you care a ton about farms
Fabric on top in that case
dont use spigot
spigot changes mechanics aswell honestly
plus it skips ticks
fair
he gave me a lot of problems due to java_home path right but he detects it wrong, now I've crated a gamerule and I'm gonna program it
idk how but I will see a ton of tutorials
ok I will opt for that
