reconfiguring TAB for 1.20

Paper 1.20.1 Java So as I understand, the dev for the TAB plug-in removed the placeholders for %afk% and a few other things and said to use the placeholder api alternatives. My question is how do I set this up properly ? Because now on the newest version of the plug-in all users have %afk% at the end of their name regardless of afk status.

Removed %vault-prefix%, %vault-suffix%, %afk% and %essentialsnick%. Use their PlaceholderAPI alternatives (or internal LP placeholders for vault replacements)

Yea I’m asking how to set up the PAPI alternatives. Not for a copy/paste of the modrinth/GitHub page

Placeholders
The best and simplest way to add placeholders to your server! - 1M+ Downloads - 2.5k+ Placeholders - PlaceholderAPI/PlaceholderAPI

Essentials /papi ecloud download Essentials This expansion works with both Essentials and EssentialsX (Second one is recommended). %essentials_afk% for example if u have essentialsX

So I tried this, made sure I redid the download from ecloud, reloaded PAPI and TAB, restarted the server and the issue is the same

so %essentials_afk% just gets stuck there even if they are afk or not?

It still just says %afk% So my username in tab is “Zenologia%afk%” Even after changing the afk placeholders to %essentials_afk% I’m gonna have the other admin restart the bungee (waterfall) server later when the normal reboot happens and see if that helps
