i've received a mail from a person from china saying they wanted to "reupload" my webapp in mainland china and i'd rather not, but if me hosting it on pages is not gonna be enough for people in china to use it, then it might be an alternative, (the project is on github anyway so).
the only restriction right now is the load speed of the app, i've tried an online tester that showed that it takes 5/6 seconds for it to load

we haven't looked into it much ourselves, but yeah offering services in China directly does (often or always?) require an ICP license. I think our decision was that if we ever want to enter the Chinese market, we'd probably have to partner with a local company (so we'd sell to them and they'd be a reseller).
I would probably want to reach out to partners though, instead of having partners reach out to us. I'd rather have a partner who offers complementary services/products instead of a mass reseller.
in my case i've made an app to compose music for a game, a developer of a "competing" app is the one that was gonna reupload the website in china and said they would simply reupload the github built code, it's not like i can stop them if they wanted to so xD, but i'd accept if it was the only solution
i'm only a bit scared about it because i've had bad experiences with this kind of things in the past so i'm not sure
