looks good and slow
Looks very good
Joined the waitlist
I want to try it once it's released for my project because it has many memory leaks and crashes unexpectedly sometimes
yeah gpt 4 is very slow so we're looking into other LLMs to switch to
thanks!
oof yeah this can catch a lot of those issues
memory leaks, logic issues, many security vulnerabilities, etc
Does it work for multiple files
Currently, it scans one file at a time, but we want to include dependencies and other files that the current file uses in the future. It can scan files of any size now
Nice
Do you have an estimate of when it'll be publicly released
Not yet, but we'll send out an email when we release the beta version. We're hoping to release it quite soon
Alright
I'm going to try and use it to debug my messy 8,3k loc project lol
Lmao
hope you'll like it!
@I'm No Granny. is this open source and open to contribute?
It's closed source, but people on the waitlist will probably get early access
now a days not prefering which not open source
no like stop
this thing usually spits out nonsense code
stop advertising it everywhere
@Deleted User
can we keep this thread on topic please
Yeah it doesn't add anything to this project
I just received an email 👀
so it's out now?
oh OP isn't on the server anymore :(
just released it today!!
it's in free beta https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=fyxia.fyxia
Fyxia - Visual Studio Marketplace
Extension for Visual Studio Code - Bug remediation using generative AI
nice!
is there any way I could donate?
I know openai keys cost a pretty penny.
thank you so much! 🙏🙏 can I get back to you with a good way to pay us or potentially invest? we don't have a donation page yet. sending you a friend request now 🥹
But we will be charging users at some point, so no pressure haha
If there's a way to invest, let me know :)
Will use this to scan my 1k+ loc project, let's see what it finds
@I'm No Granny. Love this extension
Thanks!! So glad it also reported some useful bugs for you. I've used Fyxia to fix bugs in its own codebase a ton
Some of them are not really bugs, but it works decently well
However now I clicked scan and it doesn't scan anymore, a popup loading window appears, keep loading stuck to the end but then does nothing
Hmm thanks for telling us, we're working on improving the accuracy of the responses and fixing the popup disappearing
Whenever I click on the checkmark below a bug, the entire scan thing dissapears, and I have to scan the entire project everytime
Hey thanks for letting me know, I've been working on a fix, should have it out soon
