Serial Experiments Lain Anime Celebrates 25th Anniversary With New Alternate Reality Game
πΎ Anime studios Kasagi and Anique announced they will launch an alternate reality game called Layer 3301: De-Cipher, based on the anime Serial Experiments Lain, to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
πΉοΈ The immersive ARG will be supervised by the series' original producer Yasuyuki Ueda and players will unlock new aspects of the anime's storyline by using their digital collectible called Protocol Key to interact with digital elements.
π Players will receive rewards for clearing the game, including never-before-seen cel art and limited digital, physical, and "phygital" memorabilia. The release date of the game has yet to be announced.

Comment: Beautiful anime and manga, explores themes of yuri relationship, it is well drawn and animated with emotional scenes, very recommended!

Miyano is secretly a boy who likes BL manga and accidentally reveals this to Sasaki, who shows interest in borrowing and reading more. Comment: A BL story with high rating, while I personally didn't watch it, I had it recommended by our members.

Mafuyu receives help from Ugetsu Murata to create new emotionally resonant songs. As the competition approaches, Haruki doubts his place in the band. The story reflects on heartbreak and salvaging what's left amidst regrets.
Comment: I've seen it being very popular BL series. The art is beautiful and movie has amazing scenes, you won't regret watching or reading it!

Comment: While it isn't directly about LGBTQIA+ issues, some characters are part of the community! You will find themes of gender and sexuality, trans guys and non binary characters and more. In general while I personally didn't watch it, I heard itβs a good series and touches the subject in a modern way.
