❔ Failed to retrieve server version Error Visual Studio 2022

So I am trying to create a MVC web application for my school project using the entity framework, ssms and a ms sql server. The problem is when i create a connection to the database like shown in the first picture and then i right click the tables folder and select "Add New Table". Then an error message (the second picture) pops up giving me close to no explanation about what went wrong. I tried googling it but the only suggestion i found is updating from vs 2019 to vs 2022, but im already on 2022. Any help is appreciated <3. @Web @Database @AspNetCore
