❔ .NET Core 7.0 SDK shown as installed by "apt-get" but not used by "dotnet" command
I am using dotnet-cli and I have been facing this issue with my dotnet installation on Ubuntu Jammy 20.04 for the last few days. The command used to work just fine before but now for some reason whenever I try "dotnet run" or "dotnet new " I get this:
The command could not be loaded, possibly because:
* You intended to execute a .NET application:
The application '--version' does not exist.
* You intended to execute a .NET SDK command:
No .NET SDKs were found.
Download a .NET SDK:

Learn about SDK resolution:

I have tried to completely uninstall or .net related packages and purge it then reinstall, reboot the system and add the ~/.dotnet folder to PATH but nothing seems to be working.
Any help would be appreciated
