Error getting domain name working.
The browser gets an http 522 error, and when I tried to put a "Rule" in I got a Page Rule validation failed Code: 1004
I'm not understanding so many direct addresses to test page:
https://cf01-3i7.pages.dev/
https://60f8e9ad.cf01-3i7.pages.dev
I hit "retry deployment" and rec url below.
https://9a01dbaf.cf01-3i7.pages.dev
I found "Known Issues" page at:
https://developers.cloudflare.com/pages/platform/known-issues#enabling-access-on-your-pagesdev-domain
Step 4 "Go to Settings > Enable access policy." I couldn't find this on my dashboard.

I have no issue accessing your site, are you talking about your custom domain rather then your pages.dev?
cf01-3i7.pages.dev is the pages.dev for your site.
Deployment Links are what the 9a01dbaf.cf01-3i7.pages.dev domains are. They're generated for each push you make, so you can view past/preview versions.
The code 1004 I believe for Page rules is when your Page rule would infinitely redirect (i.e the target = the source)
Thanks... makes sense about the deploy link for different versions. The custom domain is Netverse.net and it's not working
Did you add it as a Custom Domain within your Pages Project?
https://developers.cloudflare.com/pages/platform/custom-domains/
Magic link to Custom Domains tab: https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/pages/view/:pages-project/domains
I just added the cname and xxxx.pages.dev to the DNS record.
You need to add it as a Custom Domain within Pages Project Settings, just creating a CNAME won't work
Trying it now... 😯😁 You know how many hours I spent on this? lol
Thank you VERY MUCH!
So the "Magic Link" above is not accessible from my dashboard <Workers & Pages><Overview>
Are you asking how to get to the same place the magic link takes you?
Yes
Just click on cf01 (the name) and then the Custom Domains tab
Oh... all this is not in the docs... THAT worked, Thanks again.
It should all be, they've all been updated to the new Workers & Pages Convergence/combined tab as far as I know
Custom domains · Cloudflare Pages docs
When deploying your Pages project, you may wish to point custom domains (or subdomains) to your site.
Oh, "Page Project" is the repo name.
ah yea it is. Not sure why they don't just use the same magic links in there, perhaps worried about them breaking in the future
So that's how you use diff domains per different repos.
