HIDIVE Streams WATAMOTE: No Matter How I Look At It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular Anime

Anime Aunties Visit Japan - Day 2: Ikebukuro and the Birthplace of Anime
📌 Jacki and Lynzee visited the Oizumi Anime Gate in Nerima, followed by Otome Road in Ikebukuro and a full tour of the Tokiwaso Museum in Tokyo's Toshima Ward.
🎥 Oizumi Anime Gate represents the "gateway to anime," boasting bronze statues of Lum, Astro Boy, Joe Yabuki from Ashita no Joe, Maetel, and Tetsuro from Galaxy Express 999.
💫 Oizumi Gakuen Station features a large statue of Conductor, the honorary station master, and a message from Leiji Matsumoto, who called Oizumi home for almost 50 years.
As rain poured on the second day of their Japan anime pilgrimage, Jacki and Lynzee visited the picturesque Oizumi Anime Gate in Nerima, followed by Otome Road in Ikebukuro. Despite the weather hindering their plans for some your name. sightseeing, the duo still managed to relish in some of the best places relevant in Japanese anime history. Oizumi Anime Gate, located near the Oizumi Gakuen Station, has bronze statues of famous anime characters representing the "gateway to anime," including Lum, Astro Boy, and more.
One of the highlights of their Nerima visit was the Conductor statue at Oizumi Gakuen Station, named as an honorary station master with a message from anime artist Leiji Matsumoto. The station master has become a prized attraction in Nerima's burgeoning anime community. Ashita no Joe creators Tetsuya Chiba and Asao Takamori also settled down in Nerima as they worked on the influential sports series - a title that still remains significant to this day.

📰 Dark Horse Comics announced that they will release hardcover Deluxe Editions of Yasuhiro Nightow's Trigun and Trigun Maximum manga. Trigun Deluxe Edition will have 672 pages and will include two volumes, while Trigun Maximum Deluxe Edition's volume 1 will have 584 pages. Trigun Deluxe Edition will be released on December 5, and Trigun Maximum Deluxe Edition will be released in April 2024.
💥 The story follows Vash the Stampede, who lives on the desert planet of Gunsmoke with a sixty billion double-dollar bounty on his head, and every psycho is after him. Despite Vash being a pacifist, he fights back to survive.
🎥 The Trigun anime adaptation aired for 26 episodes in Japan in 1998, while the Trigun: Badlands Rumble anime movie debuted in April 2010. Its world premiere was at Sakura-Con in April 2010. The Trigun Stampede anime premiered on January 7 and ended on March 25 with a final phase green-lit.

The cast includes Yuichiro Umehara, Kōtarō Nishiyama, Tomokazu Sugita, Jun Fukuyama, and Hiro Shimono, and it will be directed by Noriyuki Abe at A-1 Pictures. The anime's official website has revealed a teaser video, visual, staff, and cast.

But when he meets his new boss, he finds out that his boss is an airhead, banishing his anxiousness." My New Boss Is Goofy won third place in the TSUTAYA Comic Grand Prize and took second place in AnimeJapan's poll for manga that readers would like to see animated in 2020.
🖊️ "My New Boss is Goofy" was originally released on Ichikawa's Twitter account and soon series started serialization on Akita Shoten's Manga Cross website in February 2019. A-1 Pictures is in charge of the series creation, and Masahiro Yokotani is in charge of the scripts. The series was scheduled to release in 2022.

Jacki gets lost in the kawaii overload in Ikebukuro! They visit Sanrio store and got Pompomurin scrunchie and Kurumi barrettes!
Next, they headed to the Animate building to see if there were any limited edition purchases available. Inside was everything a fangirl/boy could want! With so many series available, from Haikyuu to Yuri on Ice!, I was in heaven. After picking up some cute goods, we left in search of sustenance.
Finally, Jacki hit up Shibuya 109 to window shop and feel the trendy atmosphere of the city. They tried their best moe moe kyun~ and had a Slam Dunk cocktail in Golden Gai!

Shonen Jump+ Editors Co-Develop AI Tool For Manga Writing
🖋️ Shonen Jump+ editors develop AI tool to simplify manga writing, called Comic CoPilot.
🤖 The tool uses ChatGPT to suggest titles, names, and can shorten dialogue to fit speech bubbles. Creator Yūta Momiyama, manager of Weekly Shonen Jump, revealed that the tool also speeds up the tedious parts of writing, a big help to manga creators.
🚀 Kensuu, representative director of alu technology company co-developed the tool. The creators encourage users to post AI-assisted creations to user-generated manga websites, but warn to confirm that content does not infringe on intellectual property.

Keiichi Arawi Shares Why He Resumed Nichijō Manga After 6 Years
📰 Manga series Nichijō resumed after 6 years since its initial ending in 2015 with 10 volumes. Creator Keiichi Arawi initially wanted to transition to less strenuous work, but after a break, he felt the urge to create manga again.
🔥 Fan letters from all over the world sparked Arawi's passion to restart the series; however, he vague on future plans, saying that he intends to continue working on Nichijō amidst travel, meeting new people, falling in love, and having children.
💬 Both Nichijō and Helvetica Standard manga are in English and have insight the Nichijō TV anime by Kyoto Animation in 2011. The anime draws from stories in both manga and streamed on Crunchyroll.

To add to their day’s adventure, they visited a maid café and reenacted some iconic scenes from Steins;Gate, before Jacki headed off on a nostalgia-filled trip to visit the real-life Sailor Moon shrines.

Medalist Olympic Ice-Skating Manga Gets TV Anime
🏅 The Olympic ice-skating manga, Medalist, created by Tsurumaikada, will be adapted into a TV anime directed by Yasutaka Yamamoto and produced by ENGI. It won the Best General Manga category in this year's Shogakukan Manga Awards and was nominated in Kodansha's 47th annual Manga Awards this year.

A 52-year-old man and YouTuber was arrested in Nagoya City on Wednesday for allegedly uploading gameplay footage of the Steins;Gate game and footage from Spy×Family and Steins;Gate anime with subtitles and narration, violating guidelines set by Kadokawa and Nitroplus. This is the first arrest in Japan made over an upload or stream of game footage.

According to police, the suspect posted these videos on YouTube and earned money from them. Many companies create guidelines for their games that specify which sections of their games are allowed to be uploaded, monetized and streamed to discourage spoilers and prevent content creators from uploading story content and profiting off of it.
📚📺 Content Overseas Distribution Association (CODA) organization noted in its own announcement that this is the first arrest made in Japan over an upload or stream of game footage.
