How to gather user feedback?
I'm launching my product soon, I would like to let users give me feeback & reports bug. How do you usually approach that? Do you use 3rd party providers? Do you display a button at all time and redirect to form?

for errors some logging like axiom or sentry are the best
for feedback, some accessible link to a form, and/or, asking for feedback after a relevant operation is fine too
Can you elaborate, can you show any examples?
on the footer or somewhere some generic page asking for feedback on usage or some form on contact
as for the second part
lets say its a ecommerce, after the user make the order flux, ask for some feedback on the whole process
"hey, would you like to give some feedback on the experience?"
or maybe sending emails after something
What if I would like the user to always have a visible button on an app where he can give a feedback? Is that a bad UX/practice? I'm completely clueless, but I would like to see what users opinions are after the first few days of release
Maybe I should display a modal after 2 hours of using an app? I'm just brainstorming so please be honest 😄
This would be probably hardly visible right?
using this as a example
one more field on support
visible but not distracting
Yeah but I do not really have a footer anywhere besides landing page :(. Do you think putting feedback into navbar would be a bad idea?
maybe a email would be less aggressive
Sorry, should I put email into navbar? I don't quite understand
like this
YEah, I could send it after 2 hours. That's right, so you think it's not worth the UX to include the button in the app and I should send an email with request for feedback instead?
maybe if is visible, then its fine
but blocking something asking for feedback may not be the best
Do you have any 3rd party providers in mind that I could send that data to?
Something like zendesk but free?
sadly no
