Is it realistic to land a COOP job after the 3rd semester?
I have a feeling it's very difficult to land a COOP job as seneca student. I want to apply to COOP asap so I don't have to study and work at the same time, I can just focus on work.

It is possible
I will say that it is helpful to learn the material in later terms
I don't see why you would need to study and work at the same time if you get a job after, say 4th term. I think that is still possible
I'm currently working with tech company full time employee as customer service rep
I'm trying to use this connection to land a coop job
and I'm tired of working full time and going to school full time
Damn, I am struggling with part time work. That is actually incredible
well lol my job isn't really heavy loaded, but I never get a mental rest until my semester is over
so I'm feeling burnt out
I would say part time in Tech sector is much much more difficult than getting a full time job tbh
Oh, I meant working part time with full time school
ah makes sense haha
Having good projects helps a lot, but it’s still like finding a needle in a haystack without connections. Without side projects your resume will be lost in the sea
what kind of projects did you showcase? I do have some hackathon exp as well as contests, some easy leetcode questions. I did a bit of self assignments for python a long time back.

Ideally stuff that’s interesting and somewhat large scale
Because it gives you a lot to talk about at the interview
thank you!
