Hiroyuki's 'Girlfriend, Girlfriend' Manga Ends in 4 Chapters
Hiroyuki's romantic comedy manga "Girlfriend, Girlfriend" will end in four chapters, as announced in Weekly Shōnen Magazine's 19th issue. The manga, which follows a high school boy dating two girls, will also take a break in the next issue on April 19. Kodansha USA Publishing started releasing the manga digitally in April 2021 and will publish the 13th volume on April 25. The manga's anime adaptation premiered last year and will have a second season airing this October.

Naruto Series' 'Narutop 99' Character Poll Winner Minato Gets One-Shot Manga by Original Creator Masashi Kishimoto
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Naruto franchise, a character popularity poll was held, resulting in Minato Namikaze the Fourth Hokage as the winner with 792,257 votes. To follow, the franchise's original creator, Masashi Kishimoto, will draw an original short manga featuring Minato. The top 22 characters from the poll were also featured in a visual created by Kishimoto, who also added comments regarding the poll. The original Naruto anime will also air four "brand-new" episodes starting in September to celebrate its anniversary, while the Boruto sequel manga and anime continue to be released.

Cinedigm Acquires Streaming Rights for Nadia - The Secret of Blue Water TV Anime
Gainax's science-fiction adventure anime Nadia - The Secret of Blue Water's streaming rights are acquired by Cinedigm from GKIDS. The series' remastered version will be streamed exclusively on RetroCrush this June. RetroCrush serves as a free ad-supported video-on-demand service available in the US and Canada. Digital Media Rights' goal is to "serve as a community built for the consumption and discussion of the Golden Age of Japanese animation, (and some not so retro), from the perspectives of pop culture, fandom, art, internet memes & more." The streaming platform plans to include a library of content that "hasn't had proper streaming releases outside of Japan." The staff features directors such as Hideaki Anno, character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, sound director Katsunori Shimizu, and musical composer Shiro Sagisu.

Crunchyroll Reveals English Dub Cast, Staff for In Another World With My Smartphone 2 Anime
Crunchyroll has recently unveiled the English dub cast and crew of the second season of In Another World With My Smartphone anime, which will premiere on April 17. This new season will feature a new staff and animation studio, with director Yoshiaki Iwasaki at the helm alongside Deko Akao on series composition and Chinatsu Kameyama on animation. A new cast and voice actor : Bryson Baugus as Touya and Celeste Perez as Yumina, as well the returning Leah Clark , Jill Harris, Michelle Rojas, Sarah Wiedenheft, Monica Rial, Marissa Lenti will complete the English dub. The first season of the anime premiered back in 2017, and if you're looking for a quick catch-up for the second season, you can watch subbed episodes on Crunchyroll.

In/Spectre Anime's 2nd Season Premieres with English Dub Cast on Crunchyroll!
Crunchyroll has announced that it has begun streaming the English dub for the second season of the supernatural mystery anime, In/Spectre. Cast members Lizzie Freeman and Brandon Winckler return to their lead roles along with several new and returning cast members. The anime premiered on Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and Animax in Japan in January 2023. The Crunchyroll co-production was part of the Crunchyroll Originals Slate which aired 12 episodes in the first season. Additionally, Kodansha USA Publishing is releasing the manga in English. The anime is directed by Keiji Gotoh with a script by Noboru Takagi, character design by Kentarou Matsumoto, and theme songs by KanoeRana and Mamoru Miyano.

Suzume Anime Film Earns US$2.15 Million on Friday in U.S.
Makoto Shinkai's anime film Suzume debuted in the US with great success, earning $2.15 million on its Friday premiere and ranking at #4. The movie is projected to reach $5 million in its opening weekend. The film has also seen record-breaking success in other countries, earning the title of the highest-selling Japanese anime in China of all time and ranking #1 on its opening day in many countries' box office charts. The movie centers around Suzume Iwato, voiced by Nanoka Hara, and a young man named Sōta Munakata, voiced by Hokuto Matsumura, on a journey as the "Door-Closing Master." Suzume was directed and written by Shinkai, who is also credited with the original story. Other staff members include Masayoshi Tanaka as the character designer and Kenichi Tsuchiya as the animation director.
