Supported Resolutions in VALORANT
Let me guess. You hopped in-game, ready to take down your opponents, when you noticed some rather obvious black bars book ending your game. If you're wondering about those black bars, or you're her...
I think its not bannable
*If you're playing in an unsupported resolution (notably those that are extra wide), the black bars will essentially crop your screen to the supported resolution. *
we're basically forcing the game to stretch an unsupported resolution without the blackbars
this article says nothing about if its allowed or disallowed though
The resolutions themselves are not bannable but the process u are going through to achieve this “true stretched res” can be
true stretched res is bannable
How do you know?
i mean cant you tell valorant is trying to keep it out of the game?
theres a reason why normal stretched isnt true lol
feel free to ask a dev or smt but i think im right
Where can i ask the dev?
Winexp counts as a third party software i think so its bannable
Normal stretched like ingame isnt bannable tho
so uhh I kinda just booted valorant and it played in true stretch without any 3rd party programs
if anyone is interested you might want to experiment a little xd
How?
I logged onto my other account and noticed my settings were off so I just randomly thought I might be able to just paste my game config onto my other account's and it just randomly booted into true stretch since my my first account had the game running in 1080x1080
anymore info I am not sure I can give and I don't really have time to diagnose why this is a thing rn, best of luck to you lol
Oh
Ok
Thx
it’s not bannable it’s only bannable in tournaments
