❔ SQL Server Alias issue
Hey friends,
I have created an
alias for my SQL Server Instance, the original installed instance is MBARK-LAP and the new alias I have created is MBARK,
The problem is when I try to login using the new alias I get the error (see the 1st attachment)
The alias from Sql Server Configuration Manager (see the 2nd attachment)
I hope someone here to provide a help and massive thanks in advance <3

wouldn't that be ".\MBARK" or "localhost\MBARK" or something like that?
just "MBARK" would mean you are looking for default instance on a machine named "MBARK"
Was this issue resolved? If so, run
