flanking
When is the best time to flank and does the round number matter? I play reyna and flank first and second round(if we won first). Should i do it at the beginning of the round or when they start to push in?

by flanking i assume you mean defense
if you mean attack then simply don't because your function as a duelist is help your team take space on site
but usually its good to flank when u know the enemy team is on the other side of the map so u can get a good angle on them
like if they are going A on haven, for example, you can go down C long and hide in the cubby or near the arc and wait for them to rotate
if they dont rotate you can flank but if they have a killjoy or smt i'd just go back and play retake with my team
I don’t recommended flanking with Reyna, someone like neon is good for flanks but u shouldn’t flank on round 2 on the basis u win because you would have a gun advantage. It would be very unfortunate if you die, as the enemie would receive a specter or a decent gun. Better to play with team and secure kills
Honestly being a reyna/kayo main I can tell u that u shouldnt rlly be flanking much as reyna, unless u see a game-specific play that has potential
round number doesnt really matter unless they are on a save, then your flank is usually less valuable economy wise
fast flanking is really good but you gotta be aware of how your enemies play to pull it off successfuly
and you can only do it once maybe twice usually
flanking slowly or late in the game can also be very valuable if the enemies rotate and you can catch them off guard
if you can pull off a flank in first round i would say that it is very good but you cant be certain of the enemies playstyle regardless of which side you were on first
cuz it secures u a force and a bonus against the enemies (usually 2 rounds won instead of 1)
as long as you dont have exponential retake utility (ults most likely) flanks can be doable on most characters successfuly
