Backup stuck, logs says "PathNotFoundException"
So this is a fresh docker installation of immich, with a cloudflare tunnel.
I'm using iOS and I enabled both foreground and background backup (also enabled background properly in iOS settings).
Foreground backup started well, and then stopped after syncing 285 files. Now it is always stuck on the same file IMG_2728.JPG.
I have checked the logs, I could not copy them, nor create a note, nor send them via email or airdrop, so I took screenshots of the logs and removed some unnecessary data.
Let me know if I can give you more information or if you think this should be a github issue.

AFAIK cloudflare tunnel limits the file size
I read that yes, to 100Mb if I recall correctly, but I doubt (could be wrong though), that a "simple" JPG is above that limit right? Also the notfound exception is weird

Hmm can you help export the log and grab the stack trace of the error message #1 showed in your screenshot?
Ah you couldn't copy them
as I wrote, I am unable to do so, I tried all options iOS offer (email, note, copy as text, airdrop etc..)
it's just empty
damn it this bug is annoying as it works on a certain phone model, even on my iPhone 12 Pro
Can you help track down the file?
I don't know if it's relevant but I have a iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 16.4
you can check what file that is by clicking on the image icon next to the upload progess bar
it would show the thumbnail of the file
Can you try to temporarily delete that file to see if the upload continue?
omg, it's a picture of my kid and I have thousands of them 😅 I'm gonna spend days trying to find it in my album 😂

hum that's interesting. I did find that picture, which I airdrop to my laptop, but it has a different name IMG_2730 (compared to IMG_2728)

Yes try that first, if it doesn't work then try to find 2728 and move it to your laptop and delete it

somehow immich finds a photo which I can't access to myself
let me try to find that photo inside immich app (and not the ios photo app)
so I can find that photo (and some duplicates) at that date, including one photo completely black (in the between the two duplicates), but that black photo I can't click on it, and if I hold my finger on it, nothing happens (it does not get selected).
When I hold my finger on it, it creates a red log entry (see screenshot).
That black photo also have a icon of a "slashed picture" in the top left.
So I tried to hold my finger on another photo, it get selected and then I have the option to select my black photo, I did and deleted it, but it just comes back if I reopen the app or switch screen

that sounds like a corrupted file
I ran into this issue once I believe
do you remember how you fixed that? I must admit I googled everything I can imagine about that but did not find anything except shady website trying to sell me there shady softwares ^^
is there no option to just ignore that PathNotFoundException and continue and just keep the log
It is one of the very rare case that we haven’t ran into very often
Can you tap on that picture to get to the detail view?
the black one? no nothing happens if I click on it, not even logs
If you swipe from a good image to that one does it work?

just the date and resolution, no name, no gps coordinates
try to share it shows a popup "preparing" spinning endlessly (I must restart the app)
and if I delete it from that screen, it comes back after restart
In all the selected albums for backup is there any suspicious album with one asset?
no I just have 2 albums selected, including the "Recents" one with all photos
I have to go to bed now, so I'll check again tomorrow morning, thanks for your support already
