How I got rid of the ghost ping.
I found that there was a unreadable ping from #game-news , https://discord.com/channels/679875946597056683/679877572431314981/1090270591220723853 was the message. After marking the server as read several times, it didn't work. After spam marking as unread while scrolled to the bottom, it had disappeared. if it doesn't work there are a few things I'd like to try. Nonetheless, it worked for me and I hope it works for everyone else.

If you are experiencing a stuck notification icon
1) <id:customize> Remove News Roles
2) Find latest #game-news post
3) Right click and select mark unread
4) Clear app cache / press CTRL + R
This bug has been reported to Discord support for investigation
