messages take a while to send
this has been happening for a while now and it sometimes lets me send them instantly but most of the time it doesnt let me send until a couple rounds later, this has been reoccuring to my account a while ago but now its been a couple of months and it hasnt stopped, it happens in all chat, team chat, and whispers, i tried on my other account and it works no problem, does anyone else have this issue? is there a fix too?

Trust me that this an issue a lot of players come across so isnt only you. It tends that texts sent are delayed and when it happens VC stops working.
Personally it happens randomly in my case
