go to your desktop shortcut and click on properties
go to compatability and then tick off: Disable fullscreen optimisations and Run as administrator
launch the client see if you can update now
3rd party software such as Avast, AVG, and NORTON should be uninstalled (after running a security check) because they may be causing issues with valorant
make sure to apply the setting
