what is the best way to get better
I'm a bronze 2 player and I want to know how I can rank up effectively, efficiently, and improve at the game. I have only been playing the game for 2 weeks I want to get better at all mechanics so I just want to learn how to and what I could do to be good

Get a really good aim to start with because it’s the most important so buy kovaaks if you have some money if you don’t go for aimlab. There try doing tasks that require precision and some valorant scenarios on aim lab for crosshair placement
Do that everyday and than play a lot of deathmatch
You should learn how to counter strafe and make sure to understand what each champ does
So yk
dont do whatever he just said
focus more on actual gameplay instead of some kovaaks or other aim trainer
you should play deathmatches but only to warm up for the game
practice being more confident while playing
you have been playing this game for 2 weeks and are already in b2, thats a lot higher than my iron when i started. all you do is just play the game, improvement will eventually come
another great tip is to not play for rank yet - play for fun. otherwise you might end up bashing yourself for losing rr and not climbing any ranks
@setrex why shouldn’t he keep improving mechanics, you can hit diamond by having rlly good mechanics. If he’s bronze it means he isn’t a bad player and he understands the game already a bit but aim in low ranks is what makes you stand out the game sens comes with playing if he does 30 minutes to 1 hour of s’il training each day in a month he will have insane mechanics and if he plays a few ranked afterwards he will easily win almost all games
I started as a bronze with Val being my first fps what made the difference was the crosshair placement and aim in low elo people don’t know what trading is they don’t know how to play around a duelist or their team so you need pick a Reyna where you can carry with, without needing to go first because its a second entry if he has good aim his Reyna will be on top
you can hit immortal by just having really good gamesense and knowing what youre doing
aim wont get u far
people who are stuck in iron/bronze don't need game sense
they need aim
only reason they are in iron/bronze is cuz of their aim
Yh
And if you hit immo by game send
It’s either you got lucky queues or you did some cringe shit
yh mate aim is everything
this is true you can get to imm by game sense alone but its not true that aim wont get you far.
imm is a place you can get with having 10/10 game sense OR 10/10 aim. getting higher than imm2 requires you have more than just game sense or aim.
you need both yes, having a shit aim will drag you down
but i dont believe that you necessarily need to get loads of kills if you play with someone like cypher
I dont know why people are shitting on setrex but he's kind of right
and wrong at the same time
Yes aim is very important in valorant as it makes you win more gunfights which is the main point of the game but improving ur gamesense is also very important
But at the same time the way the first guy told you how to improve your mechanics is EXTREMELY wrong,
do NOT buy kovaaks or practice crosshair placement in aimlabs, just play deathmatch if you wanna improve your aim and flicks, and crosshair placement as you get to play on the actual maps in the game
Also playing too much aim trainers can tire you before you even get into the game so you could play worse when you hop into ranked
I suggest u only play these "aim trainers" as warm ups instead of turning them into a full on routine as it will tire you
although im only a silver so take this as a grain of salt
I am imm3 top 700 peak
And what helped me the most was kovaaks and watching vct
well good for you cuz it worked for you, but according to most people that i asked playing an entire routine before playing the actual game tires them and they play horribly when in a real match
right i forgot something
if you have bad mouse control yeah aim trainers could be useful
but if you already have good mouse control then i suggest you should just practice your crosshair placement
But if you are In bronze your mouse control can’t be good
And if you are tired after a 10 min warm up
You should t queue comp you should go to bed
thats kind of the problem
most newbies get tired from a quick warm up
than they should keep doing it
until they get less tired
keep aim training
until they get better
they should start slow then slowly do the routine you mentioned
No one in iron and bronze uses game sense
Only after silver it’s where u need somewhat of a good game sense to progress
Gamesense is important yeah but if u have shitty aim in immortal and only gamesense everytime u do a 1v1 chances are ur gonna mostly die unless u trade off of someone
Ur gonna be in a lot of 1v1 situations as u progress cuz as u progress the slower people play and they wont just group up on one person like they do in the low ranks
Aimlabs should help with ur general aim and tracking whilst deathmatches help with crosshair placement
Agreed
Do yall recommend Cryo's aim routine on aimlabs? Because I do his then a death match game
Here for the comments as interested myself what people reccomend
You should just stick with a regular warmup routine first (I recc wulf’s one) then do aimlabs when you reach plat. Don’t recc what Classy said (instalocking reyna lmao). Just play the game and find a main you like. Getting a duo is rlly important.
AIMLABS can help you to get gold-plat
