Valorant is freezing my whole pc
Has anyone ever encountered an issue where their whole pc just freezes when trying to launch valorant? I had this issue for quite some time now, tried many fixes that I've found on the internet, but could never manage to at least get into a game, it usually gets stuck either on the loading screen or in main menu, I'd be grateful if anyone had some kind of solution to this issue.

are u on windows 11 or did u make some changes in ur settings
i'm on windows 10
and which settings are we talking about
valo or windows?
the thing is that, last year i used to play valorant with no issues, up until it started to crash during some games, i've quit after that started to happen, recently i came back to it, everything updated, all files checked and are not corrupted, even when i get into the main menu now, i can't even click on anything without it crashing, so i can't even change my settings or anything @svobsl
try uninstalling then re-installing
did that like 3 times already
so your screen just freezes?
and you cant open discord or anything?
.
completely nothing, can't even open task manager
my friend is having this exact same promlen
are you win 11?
oh nvm
i'm on 10
you fully uninstalled
vanguard an everything
yes vanguard, client, valorant, even league
tried installing on epic games
same issue
updated all my drivers
changed some stuff around windows settings
tried in administrator mode
did you update drivers?
and try to open as admin?
i just listed all the things
yes i did
did you clear ram or memory
does your pc have space?
seems enough space for me
.
how would i do that
was this happening yesterday?
to make space
but u have space
been happening for nearly a month now
.
have you ever been able to open?
since that month it started
yeah like a year ago

where can i see my specs

search about in search bar
and then find about your pc

CPU
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2700K CPU @ 3.50GHz
RAM

OS

so
So Im kinda having the same issue and im on windows 11 is that the issue @cowzzer
this should work
but instead for crashing my pc which it has done most of the time it just crashes valorant and thats it

"Valorant Freezing Issue Fix 2022"
my val isnt freezing tho it just crashes :[
i've watched many of those videos already, tried all their things and nothing changes
did you update graphics drivers
yea im pretty sure there updated
double check
is there a video on how to do it
yes
are you win 10? @Mr Blue
no
win 11
i think thats my issue
im on win 11
ok
so
it just crasshes?
no error or anything @Mr Blue ?
contact riot support team
most likey a graphic/display issue
tried that too, i've been contacting them for like a week with no changes, and their response times are slow
so i came here
did you do the fix in that video i sent?
changing graphics preformance settings and ect;
tried that some time ago already, but i can try again soon
and let you know if it did anything
ok
@mrblue6295 hows it going?
"For me upon first installing the game, there is a screen with a button saying “I understand” and my cursor will not recognize this as an interactive element, therefore is not able to click it. I believe this may have to do with the fact that the game starts up stretched out to widescreen, not on a widescreen monitor btw. I know how to fix the dimensions issue in the game settings, but that’s not much use if I can’t get there at all"
im updating my drivers through geforce expirence'
this used to be the error but i fixed this
@cowzzer
how
by just uninstalling and reinstalling?
i went to riot support
alr
yes but vanguard itself
try again whe drivers are updated
uninstalled and reinstall the game
???
?
dont do that
just trying loading the game after there updated
oh ok
ill play until it crashes
but hopefully its fixed
wait
could you open the game before?
@Mr Blue
do you guys also have 2 monitors?
or more
NO
caps
when i was talking to riot support they told me to unplug my 2nd monitor and uninstall the driver for it?
maybe that might be an issue
i have it plugged in to my cpu
instead of gpu
im having a similar issue
when i launch val my entire pc freezes
for like 30 seconds
just 30 seconds?
does it work fine after that or
PROBALLY
caps
i think its fixed thx maxlol
NP

alright so i've run this
can't tell me that my specs are bad
now let me try it out
i didnt say they were i just said check bc it might be the cause
just wanted to let you know
my drivers are also updated
yeah then its a weird problem
do what support says and im sure you will fix it
keep me updated tho
I'll have to contact them again if this doesn't help
Alright so
I got it to work
Turned out that my Nvidia graphics were not updated so I did that
And I also unplugged my 2nd monitor before restarting my pc
I'll have to play one game and see if anything changes
...
