disable your antivirus for this update
how? (im using avast)
i have riot games as an exception
go to protection and turn off main shield for this update, after update u can turn back on
still doesnt work
then try this
wait few minutes and then reboot ur pc
it worked for me
after you reboot ur pc, then try this again
mine Riot Vanguards folder is get in the temp folder and im not able to delete it and also facing the same issue from past 3 days
I also sometimes get this problem
just leave it like that for sometime
it will download automatically after 15-20 or maybe 30min

I seen him talking about this bug since day 1 of the bug so most likely he already fixed it
Well i seen a person with the same pfp as him maybe he changed his name
so i cant play on windows 8.1 anymore
