my acc got banned before for raw accel and after i got unbanned i got banned again today
it wasnt raw accel or you didnt download raw accel

wdym? vanguard is our anti-cheat team and is a riot team. maybe you meant vanguard and VAL aren't the same? which is true, but that doesn't mean i don't know anything about anti-cheat policies or functionality.

basically, what he's saying is what i always say, because i have talked to anti-cheat and that is the basis of my response - even if we do not currently ban for something, that doesn't mean we never will, which is why it's always use at your own risk.

no, i can't, but as i said, i talked to anti-cheat and asked them about this specifically b/c i get asked about it all the time as someone who regularly engages with the community.

it might be slim rn, doesn't mean it never will be. those devs can change their app at any time. we have no control over it. and if they change it to do something we ban for, then suddenly people are getting banned
I can understand that for lesser used things but like… we’re talking about a program T1 level pros in so many games use, it’s just annoying when people say all this technical stuff for each thread abt raw accel since the answer is like 99.99% always it’s not bannable
My details were a bit mixed, but I think this was the tweet, it’s not from a dev per-say but it’s from the person who assembled the raw accel team (idk why they aren’t verified, it’s the actual acc, weird)
that makes sense. the devs will often say that their app won't get you banned. the thing is that you as the player have no idea if they are just saying that because they want you to use their app or if they spoke with someone on anti-cheat at Riot. and even if it's the latter, what i said still applies. if they spoke to someone on anti-cheat, then the only thing that person said is that "at present, we wouldn't ban for what your app is currently doing". that in no way guarantees that we would never ban for that, as we are free to change our policies at any time, nor does it guarantee that the app dev will never change their app to do something that we ban for. thus, it's still always a risk.
