Well why would anyone suggest downloading windows 7? Valorant does not even support it anymore
bro, riot support told me to download win 7, many yt vids suggest this too..

What?? Why would they do that? Vanguard recently can no longer support it
That's strange
I really don't know.
I assume you have tried this already but reinstall?
i did, i also reinstalled my win and still no fix
have you tried having your anti virus disabled while booting the game
yeah im sure i did
have you tried running windows in safe mode
i have tried doing this once, but it's not logical that every time i want to play valorant i have to run windows in safe mode
well did it work?
i don't remember tbh, i can try it again rn
have you tried repairing valorant game files
yeah im sure i did this 2 days ago
is it worth to try it?
nah lets not
have you tried using a windows repair tool
this one?
no
its a third party software that looks for deeper windows issues and restores them
well no i did not try
you should try that
sure i will.
what version of windows are you running btw?
10
just normal windows 10?
Yeah
not pro version right
okay
i will send you a tool to download
to restore windows
oh wait you mean windows edition
i use 10 pro
i misunderstood
oh
windows 10 pro could very well be the cause of your issue
hmm
so i should switch to normal windows 10?
the pro version of windows causes issues commonly. usually its not nearly as severe as your issue
if you very much want to play this game then yes it is worth a try
yeah i understand
this is easily the most severe issue ive seen on every forum ive helped
Well okay I'll consider reinstalling it and see if this will fix my issue
okay
there are some people who are far more technical than i am that help these posts. i dont know if they have any ideas
thanks for ur time and for ur help btw , appreciate it 🤍
yeah np. this issue must really suck
i don't think so, i used to use w10 pro and never had any problems
it definitely could be the root of his problems. it has been the cause of many problems in the past
it could be
Yeah.... hence by I said could...
ive been reading some stuff and apparently corsair utility software (iCUE, etc) can also be the cause
Yeah dude if you got ideas, go for it, because I don't have many ideas
also changing your hard drive from mbr to gpt apparently fixed the problem for somebody, though that seems like way too much work
