Do people not realize that when they convert a python or js or Java file to exe, they're really just bundling a runtime and the code all into one?

Probably not, but who really cares. I open source all my code and I recommend others do the same. Though I don't really like when people convert their code to exe for no reason. Normally I suspect it of being malware.
And then you get 70 MB downloads from anonfiles which take 5 minutes just to run a 40 line JavaScript script bundled with the entire Nodejs runtime
Yeah fr, converting interpreted languages to exe is such a waste of time.
