I didnt get my iron gun buddy from act 1 episode 1

Do you have a buddy at all from episode 1?
you peaked silver 1 in episode one
hence you will get a silver buddy
^ It's what you peak at unfortunately you don't get all the buddies. So if you go from Plat to Imm you won't get Diamond, Ascendant, and Imm buddy
but my friend got iron buddy
and he wasnt even iron at last
he was just iron some part of the episode

Getting rank buddies are based on the highest rank you have reached among the 3 acts in an Episode.
Example in Ep 5, you were gold in Act 1. Immortal in Act 2, and diamond in Act 3. You would get 2 Immortal buddies from Ep 5
