Major ping spike out of nowhere

Hey everyone. So a few days ago, I was playing Valorant like usual in the practice range. I was in there for maybe 20 minutes until I went to look up new routines to do. When i got back to the game, as soon as I shot, my ping spiked to 200 and continued climbing up to 2000. I tried playing and the spike happened continually throughout my gameplay. Went into a deathmatch, and the game was nearly unplayable. I closed the game and relaunched, and the issue persisted. Mind you, I had played Valorant for weeks up to this moment with no issue at all. And my PC is no potato, so this shouldn't be happening at all. All of the other programs I had open all worked fine and experienced no connection issues, so I concluded that it was a Valorant-only issue. I've tried updating my drivers, changing graphics settings, closing all other programs on my PC, setting high priority in task manager, and even went as far as to uninstall/reinstall the game. All of these efforts were to no avail. The internet has been completely unhelpful so this is my last resort before i quit val forever and just pick up overwatch. Any and all help would be very very very veryyy much appreciated. Thanks in advance! tl;dr : I had fine connection and then randomly my ping persisted to be 100-2000 and stays like that every time i relaunch it. Its been 3 days and its still happening.
