so lets talk here so its a little more organized
so I'd suggest taking a pod with a5000 nothing more powerfull and everything will be pretty snappy... can do everything right out of the box...
and for about 40c per hour
lmk if you have any specific questions about it
but as it stands the runpod SD1.5 template works with dreambooth right away – so all you need to do is download DB extension and you're ready to go

i want to cover both 2.1 and 1.5
the A5000 is as powerful but has more availability - because on thing about runpod - is that if you stop your pod and then someone else uses the GPU you may end up with with a pod without a GPU...
I am not sure about 2.1 I have not used it at all...
but one thing i know - I managed to install invoke.ai on my SD1.5 pod

i have xformers installed, but I do not use them in training
from what I read they are only needed if you don't have enough ram - if you do - it doesn't improve anything

yeah - my biggest gripe about runpod is inability to move your data between pods easily, (for when you are stuck without a GPU in your pod) and easy upload/download of data - other than that - it is pretty great, their support is pretty good (via their discord)

for saving I use gdrive - because I sync with my computer anyway - so when I get it there it shows up on my comp
