Colour selector idea
I was playing around trying to come up with a colour selector, when I thought of something (explained in the diagram below). Would it be possible to make such a thing? I can't think of how, though. The text needs to be simple html, but trying to do a theme switcheroo would mean slanted divs or something?

clicking one of those areas would make that expand and become the selected theme.
you could probably do that with clipping-path
you'd have to layer three otherwise identical containers with the only differing thing being the theme, and then very carefully change the clipping path depending on click events
clipping path can do polygonal shapes, so you should be able to keep the divs straight up and down
