First close fivem then connect your controller with USB port and start fivem up next in game Do /manual t+ type text 🙂👍

if you want to bind shifting up and shifting down on your controller go to settings and then to keybinds, go to the fivem section and find the shift binds, for example i binded mine to be in the RB and LB
