Possible to have one controller checking which button is clicked and render view based on it?

Hi, I'm not sure if this is possible but say there are 3 big clickable <a> tag button, and instead of creating 3 different view files for each button, is it possible to use just 1 view file and have the controller check for which button is selected. For example, the image here shows three clickable shapes. When the user clicks on the first one, it will get all data and display it for Location X and Y. On the other hand, clicking on Location X will just render view with data with Location X.
