A liitle help with my gameplay
So i have a habit of crouching before i shoot an enemy, is it a bad habit?

i realized that i crouch more than an average player.
i usually play reyna or jett thats why i never noticed anything since i could just get out of the situation after i kill the enemy (if there are multiple of them) by dashing or using reyna's dismiss
but recently when i try to play other agents such as skye or sova, i realized that i couldnt get out of the sutiation because the time it takes from crouching to standing just takes way too long
Yes because it restricts you to stay there and commit to the gunfight making you a super easy trade because of decreased movement speed. It better on a rifle to shoot 3 bullets counter strafe and shoot another 3. Makes sense why you did not notice but if you don't have dash or dismiss or especially in a long range fight counter strafing makes it infinitely harder to be hit by the enemy
how do i fix the bad habit of mine then, i try to not crouch that often but i usually just end up doing worse
do i just unbind my crouch entirely
is that recommended?
Don't unbind it especially with pearl in the game just change the keybind even if it's 1 key away

i had this same problem and i just queued unrated with my crouch key bound to drop weapon
scared me into not pressing it

i just unbind crouch for a while and it kinda fixed it
have some slip ups when its just instinct
