I recently started using github co pilot and now i am becoming to lazy to type etc because most times it predictions are so accurate
Is this a bad idea?

Probably not, as long as you're critically and actively thinking what you're doing. Copilot (at least for me) has been very useful in situations where I have to type code that is kind of very trivial.
Sometimes I use it for more complex problems as well, just to see its suggestion, but most of those times I end up writing the code myself.
So, all in all, it's okay to use copilot in my opinion, but don't rely entirely on it.
i think its fine, people said the same thing when intellisense started to become more prominent. use it responsibly, learn from it and always understand what its doing and you should be fine
i use it for stuff regarding repition and writing out some purefunctions i need. i think its fine. treat it sloser to intelligent code snippets and you are good to go
