Suppressing specific embeds

Is there a way to have a bot suppress specific embeds rather than all embeds?

Is there a reason users can suppress specific messages from the interface but a bot can't through the api? Just out of curiosity

You can hover over embeds in messages you send, or other people's messages if you have manage messages permissions (presumably), you can click an "x" on individual embeds and that suppresses just one embed.
