Question about NodeJS with Typescript and how to put it up on github.

This is my folder which is created by using Vite for typescript. I was wondering on how to put this into github and host it online since I never did it with a nodeJS before or using vite. The pages I have online from github was very easy, since there was only html and the css/js I have. But now with this, there is a node_module folder, a public, folder, a src. I'm not really sure on what to put in github and stuff since this is very unknown to me. Unless this is impossible because nodeJS is kind of like backend and I'll need to use something else than github? In that case, maybe there is some way to convert typescript into javascript? Theres just like so much I don't know and I been trying to search in google but I'm unable to find what I'm looking for and I think it's because I'm kind of asking questions that don't makes sense to what I'm trying to find.
