HUGE DECREASE IN FPS
I used to run valorant on 220 FPS
But if i play now it never goes above 100.
I have been tryin to fix this for over 2 weeks now. And due to this drop in fps , the game feels extremely delayed and it feels like 40 hz.
I have no idea what to do
My specs are
16 GB Ram
Gtx 1650 Max Q
i7 9th gen

is it 1 stick ram or 8GBx2 ?
Its a laptop
I have no idea
Its really frustating me , i cant even play the game properly
well google app called CPU-Z
and go to Memory section
ull find if it's 2 sticks or 1 stick
because dual channel ram can effect the perfoemance
Alr 1 second
Here
your ram is good
idk what's wrong with ur pc
try to close background apps while playing
seems like latest valorant updated caused this problem to you
Man its litteraly unplayable
I dont know what happened
See , its so random
It litteraly got fixed
Im playing on 240 fps
Buti gurantee tommorow it will return the same
Hopefully not
when u start the game
is it 240fps for 10 or 30 mins and then it goes to 100fps?
@Corvous
does it start smoothly for a short period time and then it start to decrease fps?
No
Actually
Yes
It does that
It's mostly a CPU temperature problem it overheat and throttle
Is it an Intel CPU?
Yeah
Idk what the problem is
It was fine in the morning
I left the laptop for like 1 hour
2 hours
I come back
Open val
Its on 90 fps
intel problem lmao
Wdym?
intel is not a great processor to play games on
and mostly the problems are for overheating or too much pressure on laptop
Some days i can play val all day at 240 fps consistently
Other days i can barely play above 120 fps
Whenever i shut down laptop for around an hour
And open again it runs perfectly
