VAL 5 Ban on harmless mods
Hello Yall! So recently i tried this Skin Changer/Inventory Changer a couple hours ago. It worked as intended but when i was equipping some skins i was suddenly hit by the Ban. They did not give me any sort of info why but when i tried login to my other account it was perfectly fine but i didn't launch the game on that account (i instead played a different game). Now I don't know if i was Hardware Banned or My account i was using to run the skin changer was Wrongly Banned. I know Riot Games has let League of Legends skin changers be fine but i solely believe the anti cheat thought i was straight up aimbotting but i was not even in game.
Any sort of info can help<3

You were banned with the use of a 3rd party program because you used a program that didn't abide to Riot's TOS
Skin changers/inventory changers are against TOS becuase you're illegitimately obtaining skins you shouldn't get
Pretty sure it's against TOS for League too
I did not use any sort of "3rd Party Program" i simply just had to put a file on the game lmao
You used a skin changer, yes?
oh no that let that one slide ive been using lol skin mod for years
That is a third party program
Being hit by Anti-Cheat and being against TOS are two different things
technically yes but also i didn't use any other program other the game
You still used the skinchanger
i was definitely hit by the anti cheat
Probably because the skinchanger got registered on the anticheat
Because it's against TOS
yeah you right tho
Riot doesn't want people using paid skins for free
You are bypassing paid content to get it for free so I'm not surprised you got hit with the ban. The way I see it the ban is justifiable.
i was just simply researching about this case anyways
alright thanks for that i might not even do something to my main account since I don't really care and it barely had anything on it
Just searched it and skin changers are still against TOS for League but aren't well enforced. But there are known cases of people getting banned for this.
Remember, getting banned for it and it being against TOS are two different things. Being banned just means you got caught.
i did both
im not gonna hide it
i love getting myself banned for cosmetic items i didn't paid for (this is my 6th game i was banned for skin changers)
but they definitely fix this one tho it took me no braincells to do (1 literal file changed my entire thing)
@sabynni know some people got banned in league too for using a skin changer
ain't worth it trust me
